Unicorn Theatre
Keith Williams ArchitectsA childrens’ theatre treated with the serious architectural intent, the Unicorn has instantly become a landmark on London's Tooley Street.
Its powerful cubic volumes terminate a robust row of Victorian fabric and assist the street in seguing into the modern commercial language of Potters Fields. The internal spaces have a civic grandeur which has become characteristic of Williams’ work and the building makes a profound contribution to this key South London street which acts as a transitional channel between city and river.
